COMBINED TREATMENT TACTICS IN THE BLEEDING FROM DILATED ESOPHAGEAL VEINS IN LIVER CIRRHOSIS
Abstract
The results of the diagnostics and treatment of the 73 patients with the bleeding from esophageal veins in cirrhosis were analyzed. The efficiency of using the zund-obturator “Sengstakin-Blackmore” for the hemostasis in 66 patients in the first 24 hours of admission was demonstrated. In the absence of the effectiveness of the sclerotherapy and conservative treatment the choice of treatments was operation by Pacio in 13 patients. Rebleeding after the operation was observed in 2 patients and it stopped with the conservative methods of treatment. From renal and hepatic failure 3 patients were died 3 in the «C» – severity level by Childe Turkot. The best results were received in the complex therapy with the using of the zund-obturator and sclerotherapy using and in timely using of relieving operations.
