RESULTS OF VARIANT INSULIN OF THERAPY AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AT A DIABETES MELLITUS FOR CHILDREN

Abstract

The article presents the analysis and monitoring condition of children and adolescents with DM type 1 and assessment of the effectiveness of insulin therapy and educational programs was performed.
A prospective study of the dynamics of clinical status and effectiveness of combination therapy in 376 children and adolescents with DM1 was conducted.
It was confirmed, that there is the correlation between the decline in the number of patients MD1 hospitalized with Ketoacidosis and
patient’s education in the school of diabetes in endocrinology Department. Differentiated instruction has helped to reduce the frequency of Diabetic Ketoacidosis with 0.37 to 0.28 cases per patient per year.
