Abstract

The aim of this article is a retrospective comparative analysis of case histories of the patients operated on an occasion of BPH by the different methods of surgical treatment. Case histories of 187 patients with BPH at the age of 50 and more years (with the conclusion of histological elamination of remote sites of adenoma) were studied. Connection of level of PSA (general) is conducted to the operation depending on age and pathological changes prostate in patients with proposed and reasonable diagnosis of BPH and indications for operation are made.

In 55,6% cases the diagnosis of BPH is set without his divergence after histological research, in 42,2% in combination with prostatitis and in 2,1% there is divergence with prostate cancer.
