ESCHERICHIOSIS OF THE I CATEGORIES IN INFANTS

Abstract

The analysis of the 65 case histories disease of infants, hospitalized to the Republican infectious clinical hospital in 2016 with a diagnosis of acute intestinal infection. Clinical and epidemiological parameters were used. The results of bacteriological examination of feces revealed that an important place in the etiological structure of escherichiosis of the I category are serotypes: O111, O55, O44, O126. There were escherichiosis, caused by enteropathogenic Escherichia coli among acute intestinal infections. Clinic of escherichiosis is manifested by gastroenterocolitis syndrome, gastroenteritis and enterocolitis syndrome, which does not exclude the probability of the presence of mixed infections. The disease was mostly severe (96.9%).
