The main treatment for cervical cancer are surgery and radiation, the role of chemotherapy in this localization is not well studied. Chemotherapy is also used among patients with metastases in the pelvic and paraaortic lymph nodes with little chance of recovery by conventional methods. Moreover, anticancer drugs could be used as a modifier in combination with radiotherapy. Concurrent radiotherapy regimens are now becoming standard in the treatment of locally advanced process. During our research, among 58 patients with locally advanced cervical cancer, as a radio-modifier we used cisplatin 40 mg / m2 intravenously with hydration once a week during radiotherapy. Objective response was 77.6%.
