CLINICAL AND EPIDEMIOLOGICAL FEATURES OF MUMPS IN ADULTS
Abstract
Summary: The results of clinical and epidemiological observation of 54 patients with mumps are presented in this article. These patients were hospitalized in the Republican hospital of infectious diseases in period 2015 2017 years. The analysis of the obtained data showed a more frequent occurrence of the disease at the age of 15-20 years and an increase in combined glandular forms, including 40,7% with orchitis. The epidemic rise of mumps is observed in the winter-spring period.
