USING THE MOUNTAIN CLIMATE OF KYRGYZSTAN FOR TREATMENT THE PATIENTS WITH IDIOPATHIC THROMBOCYTOPENIC PURPURA
Abstract
Resume. The article presents the results of rehabilitation programme for children with Idiopathic Thrombocy topenic Purpura (ITP) in the settings of mid- altitude (1760 meters) with subsequent treatment programme in high altitude in-patient care Tuya-Ashuu hospital (3200 meters). Out of 12 children received high altitude climate therapy, 2 children achieved - full remission, 7 children achieved - partial remission, 2 children showed transient improvement of clinical-hematologic indicators. Complete absence of the effectiveness was recorded in 1 child. Significant positive clinical results achieved in majority of patients in high-altitude settings persisted in the long term (during 6 and 12 months). Conclusion: Clinical-hematologic remission achieved in 75% children and 62% adults.
