THE IMPACT OF SMALL-HORNED CATTLE VACCINATION IN THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC ON CLINICAL AND EPIDEMIOLOGICAL COURSE OF BRUCELLOSIS IN PEOPLE
Abstract
Summary: In the article the characteristics of the dynamics of the incidence of brucellosis in people after the implementation in 2010 of vaccination of small ruminants (sheep and goats) in the Kyrgyz Republic. The absence of vaccination of cattle maintains the disease at a still high level, as evidenced by the increase in acute forms of brucellosis in the last two years. The clinical picture was studied on the example of hospitalized patients in the Republican clinical infectious diseases hospital in Bishkek.
