ABOUT THE ROLE OF THE GENETIC FACTORS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASE IN KYRGYZ POPULATION
Abstract
Levels and phenotypes of alpha-1-antitrypsin in 109 Kyrgyz patients with chronic obstructive lung disease are studied with the purpose of assessment of the role of the genetic susceptibility to COPD. Among the investigated patients, serum AAT deficiency is found in 10 patients (9,2%), with 68,0±21j2 mg/dl at the average. Among the deficiency patients, one patient has PiZZ, 3 - PiMZ phenotype.
