AWARENESS OF FAMILY MEDICINE PRACTITIONERS ON TREATMENT OF TOBACCO DEPENDENCE AND THE LAWS REGULATED CONSUMPTION OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS
Abstract
The aim o f the trial is estimation o f awareness o ffam ily medicine practitioners on diagnostics and treatment of tobacco dependence and some articles o f the Laws regulated consumption o f tobacco products. M aterial and methods: the design is cross-sectional study (195 respondents). Results and conclusions: Family medicine physicians demonstrated low awareness on the laws regulated tobacco products consumption and treatment of tobacco dependence which indicate to necessity of active, measures oriented to traning of medical doctors and creation of correct professional attitude to smokers.
