Abstract

Summary: In this paper, an assessment of hemodynamic parameters of the brain in patients with neoplasms of ENT organs is given. Studies have shown that surgical interventions involving ligation of the internal jugular vein in combination with the external carotid artery lead to marked changes in the hemodynamics of the brain and the development of cerebral edema in the postoperative period.
