RISK FACTORS OF STUNTING AT CHILDREN
Abstract
The backlog of child development during childhood negatively affects the further full development in following years of life. The aim of our study was to investigate the causes and factors stunting growth at children. It has been conducted a retrospective analysis of 101 medical records and questionnaires of mothers. The main causes were diseases of the nervous and endocrine systems, infectious and diseases of perinatal period. The predominance of boys with the lag in development forms a social problem in our country.
