ASSESSMENT OF DUSTINESS OF ATMOSPHERIC AIR IN SOME REGIONS OF KYRGYZSTAN
Abstract
Data on dust levels in atmospheric air in 3 regions of the KR: city Bishkek, Chui Province and Issyk-Kul Province are presented in the article. In the city Bishkek in the cold and warm period the averaged air dust concentrations were 0.68 mg/mі - 0.58 mg/mі, exceeding the maximum allowable average daily concentration by 3.9-4.5 times respectively. In the southern part of the city in the cold and warm period the air dust levels were higher (0.85 mg/mі - 0.87 mg/mі) than in the central part of the city (0.68 mg/mі - 0.58 mg/mі). In rural areas in the summer the atmospheric air dust level was 0.35 mg/mі in the village of Vorontsovka and 1.01 mg/mі in the village of Bokonbaevo, which exceeded the maximum allowable average daily concentration by 2.3 to 6.7 times respectively, and in the winter the air dust levels exceeded the maximum allowable average daily concentration by 4 to 5.7 times respectively.
