OUTCOMES OF CRITICAL CASES OF OBSTETRIC HEMORRHAGE IN TRADITIONAL CLINICAL PRACTICE
Abstract
In this report we present the results of a retrospective study of 149 cases of obstetric hemorrhage, with which it was traditional hysterectomy as primary surgical method to stop bleeding. By the end, we were divided into two subgroups - the survivors (98) and deaths (51) cases. Compared groups of patients were not statistically different in age, mode of delivery, obstetric and somatic anamnesis. In the end, death was observed in 34.2%. It should be noted that 72.6% of deaths occurred in the regional medical - preventive institutions.
