THE PECULIARITY OF ANTIEPILEPTIC DRUGS SELECTION FOR CHILDREN WITH VESTA SYNDROME ACCORDING TO CLINICAL AND ELECTROENCEPHALOGRAPHIC CORRELATES
Abstract
The children with Vesta syndrome in amount of 83 people had been examined. The selection of anticonvulsant therapy was made according to hypsarhythmia type shown on the electroencephalogram. It was proved that mostly the children with Vesta syndrome had an atypical character of hypsarhythmia on the encephalogram which required prespcription of two or more antiepileptical medicines for treatment.
