Abstract

Resume. There have been 80 cases of West’s syndrome revealed in children of an early age. The selection of anti-convulsive therapy was made on the grounds for a certain type of hypsarhythmia the EEG showed. It was demonstrated that, in most cases of West’s syndrome, it required two and more anti-convulsive preparations to be prescribed due to the abnormal character of hypsarhythmia.
