Abstract

Degenerative-dystrophic diseases of the knee joint are accompanied by infraction and defect of the articular cartilage, which leads to loss of their elasticity and violation of ongruency, and as a result leads to disability of the patient. The arthroplasty is chosen as a treatment in these difficult cases. This article focuses on the experience of usage of arthroplasty in various diseases of the knee joint. Patients were divided according to nosology and gender. Implants
used in Bishkek Research Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics (BRCT&O)were produced in the United States and in various European countries. Also the paper presents a new method Flexion and extension contracture of the knee joint without intervention on the soft tissues. The results of the study of immediate and long-term results of the knee arthroplasty are considered to be positive and shows the effectiveness of this method of treatment.
