CHRONIC CARDIO-RENAL SYNDROME AND COPD

Abstract

To assess the relationship between the decrease in systolic function of the left ventricle (LV) and glomerular filtration rate, depending on the presence or absence of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) which were examined in 60 patients with chronic heart failure (CHF) and found that patients with CHF and COPD the size of LV were significantly higher than in patients with CHF without COPD, which was accompanied by decrease in LV myocardial contractility and impaired glomerural filtration rate.
